Whatever you do

The MU launched a ‘Join for £1’ scheme in January and I have been busy booking full page adverts to publicise this discounted membership opportunity.  Full display pages using the ‘Whatever you do – Join the MU’ design have been booked over a three-month period in a series of industry-related publications including Guitarist UK; Classical Music; Future Music; Bass Guitar; Rhythm; Music Teacher; Guitar Techniques; Total Guitar and PSNEurope.

These follow a series of full-page ‘Manifesto’ adverts promoting our MU Supporters Scheme, which are appearing in a wide range of audience-focused publications including: The Guardian Guide; Music Week; Pub & Bar; Gramophone; Classical Music; Acoustic; BBC Proms 2019 Guide and the Music Week Directory for 2019.

Notably, for the second year running, I have booked a page in every single BBC Proms programme for this year’s season, ensuring significant coverage of the Supporters’ initiative.

We are also now regularly investing in Google ads and digital assets using the ‘Join for £1’ design have been created for use in social media.
