The winter 2020 issue of The Musician is being dispatched in print format to members this week. This the first print edition since the spring, and we lead with an eight page feature summarising the Union’s work since the initial lockdown was implemented in March.
Members will also be receiving, as an insert with the magazine, a poster publicising our new ‘Invest in Musicians’ campaign. An introduction to the campaign is the lead story in the Frontline section.
The package is being distributed once more in sustainably sourced and fully recyclable paper envelopes. Those members who have opted to receive the journal in digital format will be receiving an email with suitable online access.
Fulfilling statutory requirements, the results of the recent Executive Committee ballots are published on page 50. Meanwhile, on pages 48 and 49 the initial arrangements for next year’s online Delegate Conference are included. The Ask Us First listing remains available to logged in members on the MU site.
Audio files are being prepared to distribute the content in suitable format for our visually impaired members. In line with members’ requests The Musician will also be available as a large print file in 24 point for downloading from our website.
