The TUC hosted an All Party Reception for Parliamentarians at Hoare Memorial Hall, Church House, Westminster, this evening. Guests were greeted by General Secretary Frances O’Grady and the organisation’s comms team who were in congratulatory mood for all the influential work undertaken in combating the draconian Trade Union Bill during the last parliamentary session.

The MPs present included John McDonnell, Andy Burnham, Angela Eagle and Stephen Doughty, who mingled with names of note from the trade union movement and it was a pleasure to catch up with so many current and former colleagues especially former TUC General Secretary, Brendan Barber.
