My family and I enjoyed a relaxing lunchtime set at the award-winning Hideaway venue in Streatham this afternoon, in the company of King Candy and the Sugar Push. The appealing nine piece band, established by saxophonist, clarinettist and arranger Jon Shenoy, is now competed by the charming and talented vocalist Kate Mullins from The Puppini Sisters.  Thanks to club owner Fran Strachan for the generous welcome and to the attentive staff for a very pleasurable few hours.  The venue celebrates its third birthday in February and is a true jewel in the crown of the south London music scene.
